Eco-Inquiry- An ecology curriculum for middle school grades developed by Dr. Kathleen Hogan, a former Associate Scientist at the Cary Institute. Although the book is out of print, used copies can be found online or through the publisher, Kendall/Hunt.

Worm Worlds - An inquiry based activity guide investigating earthworms and their habitats; developed by Drs. Berkowitz and Patrick Bohlen for the North American Association for Environmental Education. The guide is used throughout the country in the Volunteer-Led Investigations of Neighborhood Ecology (VINE) program.
