School Year Workshops and Courses
Throughout the school year and during the summer, Cary Institute educators provide workshops for interested teachers in the Hudson Valley region and beyond. We are also available to come to your school on professional development days, or during after school meetings. All workshops are designed to align with key ELA and math Common Core Standards. Please contact us to develop a program appropriate for your school.
The workshops are free and open to all teachers. For more information contact Cornelia Harris at email@example.com.
In this 3-hour workshop, you will make comparisons and observe trends related to the health of the Hudson River using classroom-friendly data sets.
Participants will learn how their students can enter this year’s Hudson Data Jam competition--a challenge for students to use their creativity and artistic talents to tell a data-based story about the Hudson River.
