An Exploration of the Grand Canyon through science and music. The program leads with Cary Institute aquatic ecologist Emma Rosi-Marshall who discusses how the Glen Canyon Dam has transformed the Grand Canyon reach of the Colorado River. It is followed by cellist Rhonda Ryder who performs original music inspired by the canyon. Composers of the pieces: Laura Kaminsky, Yu-Hui Chang, John Kennedy, David Rakowski and Jan Swaffor
