Each speaker will submit a written version (with coauthors as appropriate) of his or her presentation. The collection of these papers, plus potentially a few that arise from discussion groups or as meeting reports, will be submitted for publication in a special issue of the Annals of the New York Academy of Sciences.

The date for submitting initial draft manuscripts is October 19, 2012, and these drafts will immediately be posted on the conference website. We hope to engender discussion of the drafts before and during the meeting, followed by peer review.

Final drafts are due on January 31, 2013.
