Now in its third year, the Hudson Data Jam Competition challenges students to creatively tell stories for a general audience using data from the Hudson River watershed.

NEW THIS YEAR:
Overall scores will be scaled based on the difficulty of the dataset used. Datasets range from Level 1 (easy) to Level 4 (very challenging). Level 4 projects will be eligible to earn the highest scaling bonus.
May 6th – Competition registrations and parental consent forms due.
May 27th – Project submissions due online by 11:59pm EST.
June 18th, 1:00-2:00 p.m. – Projects, including posters, to be dropped off at the Marist College Student Center.
June 18th, 2:00-4:00 p.m. – Data Jam Expo. All prizes awarded during the event.

Students presenting a project at the 2015 Data Jam Expo at Marist College on Saturday, June 13th will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for a sail on the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater!
We will be drawing 20 student winners at the Data Jam Expo. Students must be present to win. Each student winner will be permitted to bring one guest (e.g., parent or guardian) with them aboard the ship.
