#GetTickedOff: Panel discussion on Lyme & other tick-borne diseases

Lyme and other tick-borne diseases have impacted the lives of so many in the Hudson Valley. Learn the latest news on prevention at a special panel discussion.

This event is offered in collaboration with Assemblywoman Didi Barrett, who will be moderating. Barrett represents the 106 District, which includes parts of Columbia and Dutchess counties.

 After providing brief updates, a panel of experts will take questions from the community.


Dr. Richard S. Ostfeld: disease ecologist, author of Lyme Disease: The Ecology of a Complex System, and co-lead of The Tick Project

Dr. Kenneth Liegner: board certified internist with 30 years of experience treating Lyme and tick-borne diseases

Dr. Alison Kaufman, DVM, MPH: public health advisor at the Dutchess County Department of Behavioral and Community Health and lead of the tick-borne disease prevention workgroup

The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required to ensure adequate seating and materials. Please bring your RSVP ticket to the event for admission.
