Dr. Margaret Palmer, Distinguished Professor at the University of Maryland will discuss what needs to be done to heal our nation's flowing freshwaters.

Palmer seeks to understand how activities like mining and urbanization impact streams and rivers – and how restoration science can guide freshwater management. Discover the social, political, and ecological dynamics underpinning restoration efforts from an expert that has emerged as an advocate for streams and rivers in US courts.

Registration for general admission is required; seating is first come, first served. Registration does not guarantee a seat inside the auditorium.
