Learn about birds and other wildlife that raise their young in tree cavities and man-made nest boxes in a walk led by Ralph T. Waterman ‘bluebird trail’ experts Susan and Jerry Gilnack, and Cary wildlife biologist Mike Fargione.

The program will begin with presentations on the life history of Eastern bluebirds and American kestrels. Learn about the challenges faced by American kestrel populations, and how bluebird trails have facilitated Eastern bluebird recovery. Participants will visit bluebird and kestrel boxes in the field and learn about how they are maintained.

Wear comfortable walking shoes and bring drinking water.
