Now in its sixth year, the Hudson Data Jam Competition challenges students to creatively tell the science stories of the Hudson River watershed.

MIDDLE SCHOOL:

Overall Winner: "How Have Humans Impacted the Quality and Usability of Water, One of Our Most Vital Resources, and Can We Do Anything to Reverse Our Negative Impacts?" by Homeschoolers on the Hudson


Level 1 Winner: "Zebra Mussels and Frenemies" by the Poughkeepsie Day School 

 

Level 2 Winners (TIED):

"Invertebrates in Plants on the Hudson River Shorelines + Wrackathon" by the Marymount School of New York 

AND

"Hurricane Sandy-What Happened and When" by the Speyer Legacy School (Personal Story)

Level 3 Winner: "A Tale of Two Lakes" by Marymount School of New York

People's Choice Award:"Oh Dear, Where Are All The Deer?!" by Oakwood Friends School 

 


 

HIGH SCHOOL:

Overall Winner: "Nightmare on Hudson" by Ossining High School

Level 1 Winner: "Zebra Mussels in the Hudson River" by New Rochelle High School
