Campers at the Cary Institute spend a week as ecologists and experience the joys of exploration, immersion in nature, and discovery. Our Ecology Camps are rare and special opportunities for children to work with cutting edge scientists and educators in our unique setting.

Eco-Discovery Camp

Grades: 2-7
Looking to engage your child in nature and the outdoors this summer? Your camper will fit right in at our week-long day camp sessions. All Cary camps are held on our campus in Millbrook, New York. 

Art + Science

Summer Camp
Grades: 6-12
How can we combine both artistic creativity and scientific investigation to understand the world around us? Students will explore this question and much more in this weeklong summer course taught by artist and conservation biologist Hara Woltz.

Ages: 3-5 yrs.
Join Cary Institute educators to explore the outdoors this spring! Sign up for a two-session program with your little one and learn about plants, insects, and water through outdoor exploration and basic experiments.

Eco-Leaders: Youth Leadership Program

Grades: 8-12
This junior counselor-style opportunity is for students looking to hone important leadership skills. Eco-Leaders help our counselors engage campers in outdoor exploration and scientific investigations.
