Use binoculars, learn to identify birds by sight and sound, and apply observation skills to notice bird behaviors. For kids 12 and under.
Join environmental educator Ashley Alred for a family-friendly springtime bird walk at Cary. This event is open to children ages 12 and under and their families. Practice using binoculars, learn how to identify birds by sight and sound, and apply observation skills to notice amazing bird behaviors as we walk the trails through meadow, forest, and stream ecosystems.
Participants are encouraged to wear long pants, long socks, and comfortable walking shoes, and bring drinking water. Binoculars are available at Cary for participants to borrow. This will be an easy to moderate walk of less than 1 mile on trails.
This is a free event, but space is limited, and registration is required.
