Guggenheim Foundation Fellow and photographer Dornith Doherty gives a visual tour of her ongoing collaboration with biologists who manage the most comprehensive seed banks in the world. Her book Archiving Eden explores the role of seed banks in preserving plant diversity and bolstering agricultural resilience in the face of climate change.
Doherty is a professor of photography in the College of Visual Arts and Design at the University of North Texas. Her work has been featured in more than 100 national and international exhibits.
