Join us for a guided walk in Cary's Fern Glen to learn all about spring ephemerals. A local Master Naturalist will share insights into these woodland wildflowers that have early, short-lived blooms and provide valuable food sources for early-emerging native pollinators. Species to be explored may include trout lily, spring beauty, jack-in-the-pulpit, and trillium.
Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes and long pants. Bring drinking water. This will be an easy hike of less than 1 mile on trail and boardwalk. Space is limited. Registration is required.
