In Governing Green, you will experience the lifecycle of a green infrastructure project from the perspective of stakeholder groups; community members, non-profit staff, and professionals from municipal agencies.

You will choose between greening a vacant lot, building a complete streets project, or conducting a homeowner engagement project.

After choosing a stakeholder type, you will read through a context and challenge related to a green infrastructure project. From there, you make a decision from a menu of provided options to address the described challenge. Following this selection, you score your decision for how well it addresses a variety of measures. There are no correct answers in the toolkit. Instead, the self-assessment allows you to reflect on how the benefits of a green infrastructure project may be more apparent at some parts of the project than others.

Once you have completed five rounds, you have the option of restarting the kit and navigating as a different stakeholder through the same storyline.
