Christopher McKenzie is an international environmental and charity attorney who serves as senior vice president and general counsel of the Wildlife Conservation Society. He is WCS’s chief legal and compliance officer, and leads the office that performs legal services and corporate secretary services for the organization worldwide. Chris joined the Wildlife Conservation Society in 2011, after many years in private practice focusing on environmental counseling and litigation.
McKenzie has a BS in zoology from the University of Georgia. He also holds a law degree from Columbia Law School and is a member of the Board of Directors for several nonprofit organizations focused on the environment. Chris loves the outdoors and is an avid birder.
